scribbled bouquets

I’ve got that basic instinct,

peddling doom machines through gods miraculous creation of purple rain puddles

while the winos up under the bridge seem to huddle round rotguts last slugged sweet tippedback emptied bottles

cuddle chompin at the bit with licked lips

the ego trips and a lil red corvette drives by

hobo puppies bark at butterflies and passersby

in the meantime I’ve

been countin pennies ive saved up to buy us forever i..

can only buy a second at a time, its just a matter of time

a golden age aint cheap these days when pickin pennies off the street

but i paid for love in full so its just a matter of time

its just a matter of time before our lips meet

its just a matter of time before this all becomes yours and this all becomes mine and at that time

im gonna inhale real deep

because that smell of future nostalgiac breaths will never be so sweet

in a manner of speaking

its just a matter of fact not fiction

this digested dialogue

this spew this diction

these words

this smile

my heart

my souls impatient conversation

while i

i peddle doom machines through puddles of gods perfect purple precipitation.
